Pheromone was established in 2016 with a goal of creating a platform for efficient global commerce in the chemical industry.

While earlier, businesses had to deal with navigating the intricate landscape of chemical manufacturing, sourcing, procurement and supply chain management with multiple manufacturers, suppliers with varied quality, higher procurement costs and untimely delivery;
we solved these problems with our single-stop solution in chemical manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, and distribution, adding value for manufacturers, suppliers and customers across India and beyond.

2001

Incorporation of HJ Arochem Pvt. Ltd., marking the foundation of the group’s journey in the specialty chemicals sector with a vision rooted in quality, innovation, and long-term value creation.

2004

Formed a strategic alliance with Bayer A.G. (Germany), enhancing technological exchange and reinforcing HJ Arochem’s credibility as a reliable partner for global chemical giants.

2011

Increased the plant capacity to 6,000 MT per annum, investing in new infrastructure and expanding operational capabilities to meet growing global demand and scale production more efficiently.

2016

Launched Pheromone Chemicals to provide an integrated platform for sourcing, procurement, and distribution, offering clients a centralized, efficient, and quality-assured chemical supply solution.

2003

Expanded export operations to Europe and Asia, establishing early international relationships and introducing HJ Arochem’s chemical formulations to new markets with strong regulatory and industrial standards.

2009

Entered into a contractual tie-up with Lanxess to supply Heat Transfer Fluids, further positioning the company as a key player in advanced chemical solutions and specialty fluid development.

2014

Established Ringman LLC in the USA, creating a warehousing and distribution arm to strengthen the group’s supply chain reach and reduce delivery times for North American clients.

2018

Undertook a major plant expansion, significantly increasing production capacity and equipping the facility with modern automation to support larger volumes and more diverse chemical lines.
